I left my bedroom door unlocked for five seconds and my parents stupid dog burst into my room and knocked the tarantula tank off of my desk and it landed upside down on the floor.

:C

I've un-burried and neatened out everything, and a live cricket emerged from the substrate all 'wtf'?

My young Chilean Rose dug herself out of the substrate and immediately climbed the side of the tank, looking terrified.

She's still up there now. Movement and whatnot seems to be fine.

I'm worried that there's a possibility of internal injuries?

Never heard of a T internal injury and I don't think anything can be done even if it is hurt from the inside.
First check all limbs and body (especially abdomen) to make sure there is no visible injury. Look particularly for "blood". A few pictures can help.
She may stay on the side of the tank simply to dry herself. She was covered in subtrate which is moist so a bit of air drying only help. T's are known to stay on the side of the tank if the substrate is too wet so no worry here, unless she doesn't move at all.

Hopefully the substrate cushioned the fall. Is the floor carpeted? A desk isn't as high up as most tanks are kept. Watch for fluid/blood "leaks". She should settle down soon. Once she comes down off the side watch for any unusual movements. If she's having trouble maybe a day or two of icu would help.

We would do the ICU thing now.
Warm temps, full water dish, undisturbed, in a smaller enclosure where you can closely observe all parts.
Good luck. :)

It's not the dog's fault for knocking it over, it's your fault for putting the cage where I can be reached by the dog. Put the cage somewhere else.

If you can't see anything wrong with the T, it's probably fine, especially if it is moving like normal. I'd just leave it alone if there are no visible injuries.

We have to remember that dogs will be dogs, cats will be cats. We have to accept and expect that they will do what they do and WE as owners have to take precautions to protect our Ts from our other free roaming pets.

We have to accept the risks of having both types in the same space. Getting mad at the dog or cat for being a dog or cat is rather pointless, especially when the responsibilty to protect, or at least take procautions to protect, our Ts are ours alone.

The only time we can be mad at others is when its an adult or young person who knows better and goes out of the way to do what they know they shouldnt be doing and hurts your T...they deserve to be put out on their ear!

All that being said, I wish the best for your T.

I had a tank fall off a bookshelf one time. It flipped, and all the substrate, and plants and gravel and such ended up burying my A. avic in her tube web. I un buried her, and she crawled out and was just fine... I couldn't believe it. I was sure she was dead.
