My H. lividum molted this morning and I just pulled the exvium(spelling) and I am sure it is a female. I would appreciate any feed back. Sorry for pic quality but I had to use a scanner.

Thanks in advance Wayne H.

Yep, looks like there's a spermatheca there :)

Is your lividum not a burrower or something? Just wondering how you got a hold of the exuvium so fast. Mine is a female, but haven't seen anything but fragments of a molt :?

If what I think I'm seeing is what I think it is, it's a female.

Thanks guys

You guys confirmed what I thought I just wanted a 2nd and/or 3rd opinion.

Jim, when I seen this Cobalt Blue I was out of town and since it was on my wish list I convinced my wife I needed it so on our way out of town we stopped back and picked it up. When I got home I realized I only had enough substrate for about 2 inches on the bottom of the tank so I put a 1/2 log in there and when I was going to get more substrate for it I webbed up the ends of the hide and would only come out to drink (that I noticed). I felt it didn't need a burrow if it had its hide webbed up. This past Saturday it was hanging out in a corner of the tank and when it didn't bother me when I did tank maintenance I figured it was close to molt. This afternoon I noticed it molted. After I let it harden up I will redo its home.

Thanks again people, Wayne
