I found my G.rosea with a cricket in her mouth. I was watching her and I think I saw a drop of clear liquid fall from her mouth I also saw what was left of the cricket in her mouth covered in clear liquid. If she is bleeding what should I do and how would I apply a coagulant if I had to without her running away. respnd soon.

Harry,
if your G rosea has a clear liquid coming from her mouth, and is eating a cricket, I don't think you have anything to worry about.
I've seen my G rosea 'drool' while cleaning herself, a clear liquid coming out of her mouth. If the liquid is on any other part of her, then it might be a problem.

I'm going to have to agree.
take a deep breath and don't worry.

Keep an eye on it...
but be warned, if it was from the mouth, there may not be much you could do anyways.

i vaguely remember hearing about an arachnologist or someone who succesfully stopped up a mouth cut, but otherwise, you may met some rough times... you can't really superglue or nail polish that area.... you could try doing a search in the forum.. can anyone else remember that article/post?

but i think its just digestive juices/venom/cricketwater...
i, too, don't think you have anything to worry about though ;)

good luck!
peace

fake blood

Thank you all who responded to my post. My T seems fine now, but I still would like to know how to hold a t to apply coagulants without it running and so you can check it's underside for problems.
