I have 3 carpet pythons, (1 iran jaya, 1 jungle, and 1 diamondX), still all realativly young, (less than a year old still, so a max of about 3 ft on the diamond who is the largest), so this isn't a problem that needs to be adressed imediately, but I would still like to know...Whats the best place to get a nice display tank that will be large enough to house these snakes as adults? Price is important, because though I could use something like a 300+ gallon aquarium, I would rather not pay several thousands of dollars if there is a suitable display tank of apropriate demensions out there that is already fashioned for reptiles. I also say display tank because I want something that looks nice, not a big plastic tub from walmart. The people (actually friends that I have spent many hours helping) I bought them from almost a year ago now are burm and retic breeders, that do carpets as a little side thing, and all of their tanks are huge custom built enclosuers because of the size of the majority of their stock, so they weren't able to help much when it came to commercial tanks, they just find it easier to build their own, and at the wildlife shelters we use rack systems and aquariums as well for the smaller reptiles,(our alligators on the other hand...can a fenced pond be considered an enclosuer?lol), which is something I don't want to do.
