Hi,

Is there an Acanthoscurria that come from Peru. I'm asking that because the guy at the pet store where I go told me about a Peruvian WhiteKnee, but i'm skeptical, it look more like the Brazillian WhiteKnee... like the one I have !!!

Any help would be appreciated, thank's a lot.

I don't know of any Acanthoscurria off hand from Peru. I may be wrong though.
Argentina, Brazil, Martinique Island, Paraguay, Uraguay and Venezuela are all countries inhabited by Acanthoscurria spp.

Acanthoscurria ferina. Brazilian Rusty. This ID is probably incorrect (now thought to be Vitallius bucherli) but is on some dealer lists with this ID. A Brazilian burrowing species, it can be kept on shallow substrate with an adequate retreat and a large water bowl. Appears to be more moisture sensitive. Also found in Peru and Bolivia.
