I have decided that the setup I am using for my arboreal slings
is not to my liking. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to move the little beasts without having them taking off somewhere in the house!. I don't feel like playing chase the T.

i usually use the bath tub u put an objet like a cup over the drain and u should be fine because the bathtubs walls are slippery either put water on the sides or leave it the way it is it is still hard for them to climb but they can still climb it very slowly so be careful. once its out put a cup on it and u should be alright
then change what u have to and thats it.
hope this helps
Mike

ps i do this with my usumbara sling

What do you currently have your sling in, a vial or deli cup?

Depending on what species of arboreal it is, and if this is possible, you can put the smaller old container into the new larger container with the lid off and let the sling come out on it's own.

For my Avics, I usually just coax them out onto my hand and put them into their new home. If the T decides to run, it won't run far. I will also do this sitting on the floor, so if it decides to jump, it won't fall far.

Hi, with my arborels, I let them walk out of the cage, whether Avicularia, Psalmopoeus, Poecilotheria, and contain them in a deli cup. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very used to the personal T. that you are dealing with, all have different personalities.
Steve

P.S. I'm not a terrestrial person, I have several usambaras, they scare the crap outa me, lol. Just used to arboreals movements, ect.

I thought your parents made you get rid of all those after the multiple bites you got from the other 3 aggressives last month?

Use the above mentioned bathtub method, it has worked every time for me.
