ok I am ordering an A. versicolor, and a P regalis. from the spider shoppe tomorow and I have enough money to buy one more under 50 dollars. I don't care either terestrial or arboreal, docile or extreamly aggressive, I really want a good display T that doesn't hide alot or make too much webbing. color is allways a plus. SO PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE THANKS

UnnnnnnGay... let's see. Personally, I like h. lividium (evil rotten mean and nasty but beautiful), g. pulchra (huge fuzzy love ball), most of the brachys (the Mexican ones the best), and ceratogyrus (which have recently been added to my list). A tarantula with horns just intrigues me! Best of luck in your search. Try a dealer's site with pics, that ALWAYS helps me out!

get A purpurea (see my thread LOL)
if they have them, sometimes hard to come by.
B emilia is another great Brachy.... I see you already have B smithi.
A chalcodes is nice as well, or G areostriatum (I always misspell that one)

Go for the A. geniculata, it will quickly reach the .5" mark.

I think a versicolor would look good here. I like the suggestions about the genic too. I love my genics!

What is it YOU want though? Color? Something docile? Something that gets large? It kinda helps to know what you want in a critter to be able to make good suggestions. :)

I think with those choices, I'd take the ornata and the genic. No sense in having 2 pokeys instead of a pokey and a genic. Genics are awesome! :)

One of these days, I'll have to try to get a decent pix of Predator. Here's one from last year. She wasn't exactly cooperative about having her pix taken. (When she WAS being cooperative, I was having trouble figuring out the digital). :p

Have you thought about getting from Swift's? 1" P. regalis for $25, A 1/2" Versi for $28 and then for the third? Avicularia huriana 1/2" $32 or Avicularia minatrix 1/2" for $45, Acanthoscurria geniculata 1/4" $18 Brachypelma ruhnaui 1/4 $40 Ruhnaui is pretty sweet if you have not seen one, I don't have one yet but a few more dollars set aside and I will. nd then to top it off you will get a forth as a freebie ( have read that he give out some preety nice ones for free.) 3 or 4 spidies at once you luck dog, Late

If I would be on your place I would decide on A. geniculata or P. irminia :) Both of them look gorgeous for me and grow very fast. I have got both of them and I think they are fantastic... A. geniculata is great display T, mine is almost all of the time in the open and eats really like a little pig :D P. irminia webs a lot and is very fast... And I can always see a big change in the size after each molt... Both of them are really worth buying...
Anyway, good luck with your new T's... :)

well the order has been placed and I got.
1 P. regalis 2"
1P. ornata 1"
1A. versicolor3/4 "
1A. geniculata 1/4"

and I got all of that for $110 including shipping. and I would have gone with swifts but mike jacobi is a really great guy and he has an 800 number for all of my questions. plus its a lot closer so my T's don't have to travel as far. I just had to have the genic. and predator is very nice.
