My jumping spider laid an egg sack May 19th. I noticed yesterday morning it appeared there was eggs with legs in there. Fast forward to this evening and I went to check on her and she had created an opening at the bottom & top of the sack and was physically forcing them out. To my shock and horror all I could think to do was to put some torn apart cotton underneath in hopes they would safely land there.
I'm at an absolute loss at what I'm supposed to do now. Is there a way to even care for them at this stage? They are all very much still alive for the moment...There's only about 10-15 of them and they are maximum the size of a piece of sand.
Mom's still in the sack and she's busy fixing the openings she made.
ANY advice on how I could care for them would be appreciated!
