I have a P. audax jumping spider who molted last night. However he also noted in late November and this feels really early, and he isn't well. I might have urged him into another molt because I didn't have food available for a little bit, then he disappeared into his hammock for a week or more, so I left him alone.

I found him hanging outside his hammock in a curled up position. I moved the cage down and very gently laid it on my dresser so I can keep an eye on him. He is slightly responsive when I nudge the webbing by him, and he moved into this lethargic position (2nd pic) before curling again. Big question. Is he trying to regain his strength right now, or is he dying?? I know not to try to move him much as he's extremely sensitive but is there anything I can do?

He may be stressed out from the quick molt. How old is he?

Basically all you can do is keep it warm and make sure it can drink if needed. If you have a space heater that you can use to raise the temp a few degrees, that might help - but don't cook it by blasting hot air right at it. Looks like you've been spraying, so continue to offer water without saturating the enclosure. My guess is dehydration, so hopefully it'll drink and recover. Good luck.

P audax? His markings look a little off for that. could he possibly be injured on his body and that is obsuring his pattern, or is this how he already looked?

Besides that, he looks to be curling as in a death curl. Mix sugar and his drinking water together, soak a qtip, and feed him directly. He should revive if he possibly can. Keep him warm to help recovery chances. Feel free to @ me if theres any issues!
