im not usually too into this kind of thing - but i ran accross this guy underneath my house in the crawlspace. Ive been looking online for a long time- cant find anything at all resembling it. Dont know if its alive or dead either- i wasnt sticking around to find out. And i know the camera flash is reflecting of the body somewhat - but it really was bright bright white. and its very big too - id say the longest leg thats sticking out is about 2 inches long.

Wow that looks very interesting. If you can, I'd catch it and take picture then, otherwise I really have no idea.

Looks like either a moult or spider that's moulded over.

Can you get a clearer picture by chance?

I was thinking the mold thing at first, but then the legs really tricked me. Maybe it's a molded molt?

I don't believe that is a live spider. I'd like to be proven wrong though, that'd be interesting.

Wow, that's awesome! I guess the mold grows better where there's more fleshy tissue: the abdomen and joints. I wonder if it died during a molt?
