I am still really new to Scorpions. A relative found this near Phoenix AZ, in her house. She has found several of them over the last couple of years. So I had her pack it up and mail it to me. I think it is an AZ Bark Scropion, but I am not sure.

Can anyone help me identify this one?

There is no mistaking it. Nothing else in AZ looks like that besides the good old C. Sculpturatus.

Nice looking scorp. Be careful though. Judging by the extremely slender claws, it looks hot.

Wild Caugt Scorp. He stated that a relative found it in their house.

something around the level. Some people don't even consider them medically significant. Sorry for the misread.

I noticed that. There is a lot of varying opinions on the boards and the internet about their venom. Some say it is REALLY bad, and others compare it to a Wasp sting. I am still not going to take any chances, and give it the respect that all scorpions should be handled with.
