Hello yall,
Does any of you has any idea of what is that thing? It has been found under a rock, close to a waterfall, and it was in the south of Brazil.

Any help would be apreciated.

Regars,

Hydrophilid Larva

The specimen is the larval stage of the aquatic beetle family Hydrophilidae (aprox. 2000 species), commonly known as the water scavenger beetles. The larvae are predacious, feeding on small aquatic invertebrates, while the adult beetles are mainly scavengers, feeding on dead organic matter.
