i found this tarantula in Peru in the region of ancash at approximately 3,200 meters above sea level, heres a photohttp://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/gallery/showimage.php?i=9617&c=29

when i first found it i thought it was a Euathlus pulcherimaklaasi but it has a banded abdomen with a more robust characteristic he does not burrow but will take refuge if taunted. He is very active and a voracious feeders. i may get a pair of both sexes and try to breed them and sell them.

Hi,

This is not my website, it's the website of my friend;)
Theraphosidae is the family, tarantula are all part of the theraphosidae family. the theraphosidae sp."Peru" is label as is cause the genus of this specimen is not known yet.

For the size I have no idea.
