hi can someone tell me what kind of bug this is aparently it was found in ethiopia thanks for any help

I would guess that it has been painted... but it is from the (super)family Pentatomoidea, I think...

i thought it looked painted as well but i know theres some amazzing colours on bugs.
the person that took the pic says its not painted though:?

You can take a look through that and try to find what the ethiopian species look like... but have fun looking. Pentatomids arent exactly the most sought after inverts out there.

It looks too much artificial to me. Especially this "african-tribal" marks on it It may belongs to Scutelleridae family.

We have the possible genus and species name - Sphaerocoris (S. annulus).
