Hello,

I have 3 of these pedes that I need help identifying. I tried using the key for identifying Scolopendra (by the way thank you peterbourbon!) but I can't seem to match a perfect description. The closest description that matches would probably be Scolopendra subspinipes gastroforeata, or Scolopendra subspinipes piceoflava.

Location of where they were caught: Iloilo City, Panay Island, Philippines

Thank you so much for all your help!

Me too...maybe E. rubripes? I *think* it has dist. outside of Oz but I'm not sure. I can't remember what else(if anything) has adjacent spiracles?

piceoflava and gastroforeata aren`t valid species any more.

According to the spiracles (tergit 7 and 8) it must be Rhysida or Ethmostigmus. Maybe a fat Rhysida longipes which is known to occur in the Philippines...
