I recently got my i8 regal and she made a pretty thick nest in the cup she arrived in. I didn't want to stress her out so I placed her cup in the enclosure I have for her. She continues to come in an out of the nest when I mist but then goes back in after drinking and don't travel any further then the cup. She keeps messing with the nest. I'm just wondering if her is pre molt or if I should be doing something different. She isn't interested in food either.

Looks pretty healthy judging by the pictures. She probably just exploring her cage. Make sure no predators are around lol 😆? If she stopped eating, yes probably premolt .

Definitely no predators around offered a meal worm the past two days but little to no interest.

Yeah I haven’t kept jumpers in years mostly because ther so rare here I don’t even catch them anymore. They do patrol their cage pretty often.

I really like the Tire Swing, gives the enclosure a "I'm Home" Feel.

Thank you! I tried to make not super cluttered but still wanted lots of areas she could climb!

If that’s where it wants to live based on what it has available to it, then that’s it! I’m not sure what else you are looking for advice on

Is it wild caught?

If thats the home it chose, then its going to stay there.

If you were to remove it, it might make another web. But if youre afraid its in a molting process, you can just leave it.

For the record, i had a wild caught p audax fertile female. When i got her, i had to remove her from web because it was in a tree trunk protector that was going in the trash.

I brought her home and put her in a new enclosure with different branches and leaves.

She made a new web hamac. And she made an eggsac. The eggs hatched and all went into a happy fairy tale ending.
