Do not think so... It feels brittle and dry. Is like foamboard

I'm not sure how grasshoppers reproduce in Venezuala but I know here that our praying mantis when it lays eggs they are in a dry brittle foam like substance attached to a stalk of grass/thin branch...maybe your grasshopper laid some eggs????..just a thought...peace...

It look like that... I keep the foam in a plastic cage, I hope I did not hurt it

Thank you very much

I do not think its Grasshoper eggs seeing how grasshopers typicaly lay eggs underground and singly not in pods. and considered praying mantids and hoppers are far apart on the species chain dont think comparing them will get you far Have you thought that it may be a piece of debry the grasshopper had when you picked it up or such?

That is pretty gross.

Maybe Chucks right. I am thinking it could be a molt. Or whats left of it. Seems to me that grasshoppers will eat anything. Maybe even there old molts.

It looks like something that tried to assimilate the Grasshopper and failed, kinda like The Thing in John Carpenter's the Thing.
