Help i dont now whats wrong with my hedgehog

ive had my hedgehog for about a year and she is not acting normal. i usually open her cage pick her up and hold her and she comes out of the ball in two
seconds but now i pick her up with a blanket and i held her for about an hour and she did not come out of her ball you could see her face but when you
moved she hid in her ball for a while and wont come out someone please help i dont know whats wrong. and her nails are pretty long so i dont know if that could be the problem either. so please help

Well, first off as a certified vet tech for 13 years my first advice is get her to a vet if you are concerned. You will need to find one who deals with "pocket pets" and exotics. Nobody can diagnose over the internet. Second, this being an invert forum primarily, while some people may keep hedgehogs/have kept them, this isn't going to be the best place to get that kind of advice. Really, if you're concerned find a vet, and take her in. Based on the little info you supplied I wouldn't even venture a guess, as there are just too many things it could be, and she should be assessed. Good luck with her, they're great little pets.
