I've never sent any frogs, but I have recieved them. Small frogs (up to 3 inches or so) are usually packed in deli cups or similar containers, well padded with moist sphagnum moss. Paper towels tend to disintergrate when moist so they don't work as well.

I have also recieved larger frogs and toads packed in moist snake bags (or pillowcases).

An insulated shipping container (like a styrofoam cooler inside a cardboard box) is highly recomended. You might be able to find a used one for free in the dumster behind a store that sells tropical fish.

Frogs are usually more sensitive to excesive heat than cold, so I wouldn't use a heat pack or anything like that.

I use moist coffee filters in a deli cup, since paper towels do tend to fall apart.

Thanks. So if i send it out now it should me ok?
Should be. Weather can do some weird things in March, but as long as there aren't any blizzards or severe cold snaps expected you should be OK. I assume it'll be overnight shipping.

Critterfarm-

Coffee filters! Great idea!
