Yes in a backyard of a friend just before winter and halloween please help me identify him to find some husbandry info on the species he’s about two to two and a half inches legspan. Yes his fangs do look like a tarantulas facing forward at all times with the annoying attitude of a tarantula standing it’s ground then bolting. BF725A5F-14D4-4E2D-A547-E338C684CD86.jpeg

I could be wrong but it doesn't look like a t to me. Just the fact the the ends of its feet are more thin and spindly, and the eye shine is scattered instead of cluttered together like a t.
He has a faint pater on his back the looks like psalmopeus irmana
P irminia don't live in the US... But to properly identify, we would need more clear photos.

These guys are really easy to care for. Also, they make these beautiful blue hue webs. Amaurobius ferox or another Amaurobius sp. lace web weavers. Cute little guys with a bulky appearance. Just provide a water dish, good ventilation, a hide, and a cricket every few days. True spider not tarantula

I'd just put him back; it was kind of you to take him in but he doesn't need a saviour - he needs to live out his life in the wild where he belongs.
