So my Wolf Spider slings are now getting hungry, and some started cannibalizing. I tried separating some, but so many of them are in the mother wolf spider's enclosure that it's so hard to get them out. I bought Melanogaster fruit fly cultures to provide them with food, but the slings are so small that the fruit flies are twice their size!!! Some died of starvation! What should I do? I even gave them dead flies and dead fly guts! None worked!!! What should I do? What should I feed them?

Go outside, flip over rocks. There may be springtails that might be small enough. But keep in mind I don’t know wolf spiders well

Chew up food and spit it out into the enclosure. Feed them like a mama spider would.

Springtails, plant louse (free to pickup outside) or let the stongest survive.

Next time, be prepared.

Its normal for them to cannibalize each other. Let it happen.

If they are a native species where you live, you could release a bunch of excess slings outside and let them find food for themselves.

I didn't want them to eat each other though, I didn't want to watch them suffer for my unpreparedness. I killed many Melanogaster fruit flies and lied them around the enclosure. Do you think this will work? So far, they haven't touched it.

No. They will only take pre-chewed crickets or mealworms in this scenario.
