I have 2 dogs and my mom and Charlie (my stepdad) hate them because they got into the trash almost every day and would drag our stuff outside the dog door so we banished them outside and put their kennel up against the dog door so that they could either be in the kennel or backyard. Anyway after we banished them outside, one of them pushes the kennel back so that she can get in the house and the other one follows. So we are going to get rid of them and all 4 kids get a new caged animal. I can't decide what to get. I want a reptile. I want something that I can handle. It can't be too big (at first I wanted Albino Bermese python :D). I already have a Beardy, an Emery Rat Snake, and a Kenyan Sand Boa. I was thinking about a Tangerine Honduran Milksnake or a Leopard Gecko. I am going to Lee Watsons with my stepdad (botar) this weekend and I am going to go around and hold stuff and look for anything else that I might want. Also Charlie and my mom are buying it so it can't be too expensive. Any suggestions???

How about a crested gecko? They are really cool and friendly. They don't require extra heating or anything and you can get them in a variety of colors.

What about a red eyed skink?

They are neat and very unusual. Easy to take care of and look prehistoric!

I thought about that but they kind of freak me out.

Yes..the red eyed skinks are very handleable and they are very unique. I had my chance to buy one a week ago but backed out and bought T's instead.

The next trip to where they had them I will be picking some up.

Sounds like an addiction to me {D . Such a sweet addiction

I'd go with the leopard gecko. How about a tokay gecko. Beautiful color but are know to bite.

Yeah and I want something to hold.

Galeogirl: How big do they get? And I have heard that Kenyan Sand Boas can be nippy but I just got one and it is the sweetest thing.
