hello i need some advice/help. i have a 3 foot motley sunglow corn snake, that i have been keeping on coco fiber for about a year now. no problem till now. he eem to have "dirt" stuck in each of his nostrils(not enough to prevent breathing but enough to irritate him) and he keeps on sneezing or blowing trying to get it out. i changed him too astroturf now but was wondering what i can do to aid him or what. i dont want this to lead to further problems and it seems to really be irritating him(he is wondering the cage rubbing his nose on the glass) and i feel really bad. if nothing else im going to take him to the vet tomorrow

you could soak him in warm water for a half hour.

Maybe he's getting ready to shed? Snake nostrils look bad while they're shedding. I remember I had a gopher snake and I thought she was trying to kill herself when I saw her shedding lol. But the sneezing doesn't sound good at all...

no. not ready to shed. and it isnt really a "sneazing" more like he is trying to blow boogers out. i can see the dirt in his nostril just too deep to get out. but the vet did tell me to use a baby booger sucker thing and see if that helps. i havent tried yet but i am going to tomorrow.
