Hey all, new to the board, and fairly new to having a large hairy arachnid as a member of the family. Had my rosie for about 8 months now, but definitely wasn't a "oh look a spider, i want one" type of purchase. Did homework and lots of reading for a year before taking the plunge and buying one, and still read a lot about them, including having trolled on these boards as a "Guest" for a while now. She (i'm kinda assuming from the rather rotund rear end) is pretty docile from what i can tell so far. I haven't held her yet, but whenever i'm poking around in her enclosure she doesn't do anything aggressive or defensive, and more than anything is curious about me, and has sometimes come wandering over to take a peek at this big hand in her home. I've touched her a few times, and she doesn't even flinch. I'm looking forward to her first molt, since it might give me some confirmation as to sex.
Anywho, here's my little beauty, her name is Fuzzy (yeah, original I know). Oh and gonna add more pictures as i take them....love playing with my camera, and she seems to be a happy participant
