HELLO EVERYONE!!!! Rosea is Molting!

I know it's been since last year since I've been on here! A LOT has been happening in my life. But I had to log on because I've been watching my little Charlotte (G. rosea) while she slowly made and reinforced her web mat. Then I saw her slowly but ever so dainty turn over with such grace and now just laying there ready to "pop her top" lol Looks like it's gonna be a long night for me but I thought I'd share the first picture of her on her back and I'll upload the rest when she's wearing her new dress!

She was shaking her booty preparing the mat!

Then she was on her back!

By tomorrow morning she should be done. Congratulations!!!! Moults are always exciting and a little scary!! Make sure she has a full water dish when she is done, moulting is thirsty business.

sweet pictures. I'vwe never seen my Rosie molt. Both times she webbed up her half log when she molted.

yeah this is the first time i ever saw her web up the entrance to one of her tunnels it was pretty cool
