Hello and ID please :)

Hi, my co-worker's daughter found this spider in their house. They are worried that it hitch hiked back here to Alberta when she went to the dominican. I've never seen a spider this size around here so I'm hoping you can ID it for me. Sorry for the low quality but I wasnt going to let it have a chance to escape into my house while i was taking pictures.

Most likely Dolomedes triton (Pisauridae), the "six-spotted fishing spider." It is found throughout Alberta.

Ooh, and she looks pretty fat too...maybe some babies are on the way.

What are you going to do with her? I've been itching to find a D. triton for quite some time. Supposedly they only live on very pristine bodies of water, so finding them is tricky. What a lovely freebie! :drool:
