I have a heat pad on the bottom of my B.dubias 10 gal. glass tank (the kind used for reptiles) but my concern is that It may be too hot for them. The glass is 106 degrees farenheit directly above the heat pad and I was wondering if this may injure or kill them. I have heard that they arent very heat sensitive though this does seem a little warm. Is there any way I can cool it down? Or should I use a heating bulb to warm them?

My set-up sometimes reaches those temps. As long as they can climb away from the heat (egg-crates) they'll be fine. I think the heat pad is less hassle to set up and less potential problems than a bulb.

Only cover maybe one third of the bottom area if you haven't done so. That way there's a temperature gradient they can choose from.

It isn`t too much as long as it`s only a part of the bottom. I have exactly the same kind of heatmat-setup,and everything is going sweet :)
I spray the heated side everyday; it dries up pretty quickly moisturizing the box at the same time. But keep the food on the cold side.

Well unfortunatly the heat pad is directly in the middle. I have paper towels on the bottom (so when they flip they can get back up) that I keep fairly moist. So Nike do your Dubia breed wel in your clear glass tank, also what substrate do you use(if any)?

In fact,it isn`t a clear glass tank, but a dark coloured Rubbermaid;they like it dark. I would say you should tape some cardboard on the sides of your tank or something to make it dark. And I use what`S called "orchid mix" here as the substrate. It`s bark chips and peat moss mixed. I keep it dry, except once a day when I spray the heated side. It`s bone dry again 24 hrs. later though. I don`t think you need too much moisture as long as you serve fresh veggies and fruits and have water available for them to drink.
