Is there another way of having heat on my snakes that doesn't affect my other animals in that room? Heat lamps are not working for me

Cheers,

Please also invest in a thermostat for your heat mat. They start at around $30, or you can rig an inexpensive dimmer you want.

For most species, you only want the hot side around 85 degrees. A 100 degree + heat mat can be too much in the summertime, especially if you are dealing with a hatchling.

or if you have more than one snake that needs aprox. the same amount of heat you could get some 'heat tape'. it is sold in rolls and usually comes(i buy it online) with a dimmer setup.

goodluck.
