Good lord that is one plump sling XDI had to clean out his enclosure due to his poops all over the walls. I added 2 plants to make his enclosure look more "alive" and he decides to climb the bush.![]()
He eats alot tbh. I stopped feeding him a week ago. And will probably wait another month or like you suggested a molt! I used to feed him 2-3 times a week. Thats probs how he got fat.that sling might be able to go through two molts till it needs to eat again!! Id stop feeding till after it molts at the very least! thats a fat little sling!
Thank you xD I'm going to have to stop feeding him for about a month or maybe 2Good lord that is one plump sling XD
Thats what I would do, and 3 times a week might be a little too much in my opinion, especially depending on how big they prey you are feeding, idk. For me I feed only 1-2 times a week for slings. I mean i dont feed anything 3 times a week.Thank you xD I'm going to have to stop feeding him for about a month or maybe 2![]()
I feed him small meal worms. I used to feed him once a week but people said I basically starved my T so I started about 2-3 times a week.Thats what I would do, and 3 times a week might be a little too much in my opinion, especially depending on how big they prey you are feeding, idk. "People"I feed him small meal worms. I used to feed him once a week but people said I basically starved my T so I started about 2-3 times a week.
Yeah "people" on here."People"
well dont listen to those people, 3 times a week is way too much, there is absoluely no reason to feed a sling 3 times a week. They have extremely slow metabolisms. Youre not starving your T by feeding once a week.I feed him small meal worms. I used to feed him once a week but people said I basically starved my T so I started about 2-3 times a week.
Noted. The abdomen doesn't need to be larger than the carapace.
So what your saying is my T is fine? Mine plump. I don't use calenders.. I guess everyone has a different opinion on how to feed, take care etc."People" need to get the idea of a set feeding schedule out of their minds. T's are not mammals and don't need a set amount of food daily, weekly, monthly, or whatever turns you on.
A plump T is a happy, well-fed T. Feed with your eyes and not the calendar.
second this!Feed with your eyes and not the calendar.
Make sure you chop the eyes up tho. They don't need to eat a full eye at this size.Feed with your eyes and not the calendar.

Maybe. I'd be curious if there is any evidence of harm with overfeeding slings. Your T is most definitely overfed! So what your saying is my T is fine? Mine plump. I don't use calenders.. I guess everyone has a different opinion on how to feed, take care etc.
