hatching poultry eggs

Hey, i have a homemade thermal air flow hovabator. and i am buying some lady amherst pheasant eggs soon and im not sure how to hand turn the eggs and since they are kinda expensive i want to make sure that i do it right! any advice for hand turning eggs is very welcome. thanks :D

what I always did with chicken and quail eggs was put a dot on each side of the eggs in two different colors and turn them so that the dots were all the same color every afternoon. I set the thermostat at 102 degrees and always made sure therer was water in the bottom of the incubator. This is what I used and it worked for me, but I would research it a little more before trying this with expensive eggs.
