is it possible to handle too much? i just started handling my t's and find it really relaxing.

watching my new rosie or versi crawling around on my hand and arm seems to make me forget stress in my life.

is this really stressful for the animal?

When I first got into tarantulas, I handled them a lot more that I do now. I like to handle them enought to kind of get to know their behaviorial characteristics, so that when I have to hand them, I am not caught off guard or catch them off guard. But for the most part, I think that they would probably like to be left alone. Most of the time, they are pretty sedentary. I'm sure that there is a reason for this. So I would in most cases just let them be. You might try smoking instead...j/k...;P.

Which species are you handling?

For me it's an individual thing. I go on a species by species and individual by individual basis.
