Reminds me of my 1" B. Emilia. Just wants to sit there and not move, even when touched. And once in the hand, loves to act like a rock. I can pet it and everything. It just sits there and ignores me. Now my Avics.....WOW, one little slight touch on the leg and it runs half way up my arm. But I rarely have to nudge my Avics. They naturally love to explore my arm and anything else it jumps to, like my leg or other arm/hand. We really need a Avic handling video. Beginners (like me) are the ones watching these handling videos. If a beginner can handle a Avic, then handling a Brachypelma, Aphonopelma, Grammostola, ect. should be a breeze to handle. I have gotten use to the fast speed of my Avics, but man was I scared at first. I kept thinking it was going to get away. But now I have gotten use to the speed and enjoy holding them. I hold my B. Emilia as well, but lets face it. Holding a rock is boring compared to holding a little speed demon that loves to jump everywhere.

Nice video though. I was laughing the whole time because of how it reminded me of how I have to work to get my B. Emilia (Magma is it's name) to move.

Thats a good idea. I'll definitely try to make that a future project (gotta acquire an Avic first, lol).

I would do it, but I am a newb myself. Plus my Avics are only 1.25"-1.5" (Versicolor and not sure of size because it just molted a week ago and was 1" then) and .5" (Metallica).

EDIT: I just measured my Versicolor and it is 1", so I don't think it was 1" when I got it. I think it was .75" instead.

LOL...I've never done that, but it popped into my mind while doing the video so I thought I'd mention it. I can imagine it would not be fun.

Hello!

Great videos....very educational.

As someone already mentioned, a video about some fast arboreal spiders would be very interesting. I hope you will buy some avic in the near future...:)

And one more suggestion.....a video about OW Ts would be quite useful for many people....for example how to safely 'dig out' a Haplopelma from his burrow. I had to rehouse my two 2''+ lividums for the first time not long ago....it was fun...:)....at least now I think it was fun.....at the moment of the 'action' I had different thoughts:D

Best wishes!

Great video! I think it's especially good because the T didn't do just exactly what you wanted, so people out there with hesitant Ts got to see what to do in that situation.

Keep em comin'!
