I personally don't like to handle my scorpions because accidents happen and you can damage/kill your scorpion. If you were going too anyways just make sure its a 1 of 5. Like a emperor or something. Not more than once a week because you don't want to risk dropping it and hurting it.

once in a while i have. once every two months maybe. desert hairy arizona i have. i know the scorp stresses a little bit from it but sometime i cant resist . and he recuperates from the stress well. he usually does a few laps around the tank then settles down.

Hadogenes species will almost never sting. The whole Liochelidae family are pretty laid back. I have Hadogenes and Iomachus, both are very reluctant to sting and take handleing well. I wouldn't handle H. a mine are pretty pissy. I think you can hanle them every now and then without stressing them out too much.

i tail 2nd-4th instar gracilis and sculpts all the time, and ive held sculpts and gracilis no problem. only been nailed by my MM gracilis grabbing a lat out of his container he didnt want.

i've been tempted to hold my liosoma or P. trans but my better judgement told me no

finding a antivenom in ohio or newyork is probably impossible, probably just an adrenaline shot and benedryl?
