please excuse my dirty hands, i had just walked in from yardwork,(no pesticides in my yard whatsoever) i would have washed my hands normally, but as soon as i walked in the t room to check on things, my dad already had her out so i jumped right in :D

Very pretty T. My buddy picked one of these up at an expo we went to. His is about the same size as yours. We both took turns handling it. Not real bitey but fast as hell.

lol, trust me, mine isnt any different than the ones you've had. its just when you take it out of its natural surroundings(enclosure) it gets confused and slows down

I can't really see any blue sheen or color to it. You said that is a female right? Do they only gain their purplish blue tone when they get mature? I have two of these little fellas right now and they are both under 2" and they have a little bit of blue on em. I am curious to know if I have a female or not, I have heard that it is hard to get a female l. violaceps.

I have one of these as well its still small though around 1 inch I can't wait for it to get bigger and show all its blue glory. Blue is my favorite color btw.

it is very purple, but an irridescent purple. it shows up awesome when you shine a light on it, then the purple really shows
