I've had this genus for a few years, and had a few specimens. Recently I've had a hard time getting one to gain weight, usually will start eating prey but will not finish. I've tried feeding large crickets and dubias. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a hard time putting weight on this genus or any. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thanks for your help.

Just anecdotally, I know many people I’ve spoken to don’t recommend dubias for this species solely for the fact that there’s very little actual meat for them to slurp. Basically just one big carapace potato chip. Conditions of the enclosure can also greatly affect your scorpion’s desire to eat.

Then the people you spoke to don't properly feed their dubias. A well gut loaded dubia provides way more nutrition and gut contents then any similarly sized cricket ever will. Harder exoskeleton yes, but nutritionally one of the best feeders.
The only drawback to dubias is that they don't move around as much, and tend to burrow, provoking less of a feeding response.
