I agree, there is no way I could leave a pet with someone else, a vet in this case to euthanize while I sat at home only thinking of myself. I've known people that have done that with their dogs and it really pisses me off. I would never say anything to them. One was a friend of the family, a Vietnam vet and I don't hate him for it. It just made me mad and upset that he did that. I'm not the morale police by far. It's just how I felt about that matter

I deleted two paragraphs worth of details of my personal experience of putting my dog down as I thought it was inappropriate. I let my emotions start writing before I went "what the hell am I doing here".

I could never leave a pet scared and alone or hurting like that. I don’t know if you have this option there, but we have vets that will come to your house to euthanize your pet when that time comes.

You’re not an idiot and definitely not the first nor last to write penultimate when you meant ultimate. My statement was only for clarity.

The vets right by me did not do house visits back in 2017 that I was aware of.

No, I think it was better I left out what I wrote it was too emotionally sad and graphic. I don't want to drama dump on anyone especially on AB for tarantulas
