I have a nice colony of porcelain roaches. I started with only a few adults and a bunch of nymphs. I have had a couple of nice bright yellow and a nice bright pink one too, but I don't do anything special with them, no culling or selective breeding. I just let them be. I don't really have the time for that. But I might start, now that they have been breeding more. They fly, but not too far or high so I just let them go and watch where they land and then catch them. I have them living all together in a community tank with my AGBs, B. giganteus and Green banana roaches, because they all have the same food requirements and like the same hiding spots. The roaches are breeding well (except the giganteus, they are still nymphs) and the AGBs won't breed because of the size difference, but they do not seem bothered by the roaches.

hello Iguanamama..

so do u agree the chance is 1/50???
if i got some bright yellow specimens later on, i think i will try to seperate them and c how they do, as i dunno such kind of colour form is genetic or colour variation or ??? but group up the same colour form should got the answer from one more generation.

sounds its very funny and interesting to group housing few different speices..hope to setup one for myself...lol:} :} :} :}
