I can get a 6 foot one for $80.00 Is that good for one of these?

It would depend on several factors, including the health and condition of the snake, its color and pattern(not all Guyana Boas are all that pretty), its disposition, and age. A lot of recent imports are available fairly cheap, but are often in bad shape, ridden with parasites, and have a nasty disposition. Wild-caught adult Bcc's are usually a lot more aggressive than the typical Colombian Boa, and they can be difficult to acclimate. IF the snake is cb, or long-term captive, and is in good physical shape, not too old, and feeds good on f/t, it would be a bargain, but I think the term "caveat emptor" applies here.

Well stated, pitbulllady. That's the answer your looking for, JTC5150. If that snake displays ANY signs of ill health, no matter how subtle, that would be why it's such a "deal". There's usually an underlying reason for a great price on an adult boa.;)
