At the moment I'm feeding my tarantulas mealworms and I've been feeding them on bug grub and tossing in the occasional sweet potatos, carrots and sometimes oats. As I have no idea about specific tarantula nutrient requirements are there any particularly good things to feed my mealworms?

Keep doing what your doing gut loading is never a negative for feeders that we use, but doesn’t need to be a specific diet.

Na, what you're already doing is overkill tbh. I've been breeding them for years and they just get wheat/oat bran, they get everything they need from that.

You are what you eat. I gut load my crickets with fresh veggies and high quality, high protein cichlid pellets.

Agree with joossa, I give my feeders gutloader cubes or repashy bug burger so I know that they've got good percentages of all the many minerals and vitamins. I throw the occasional veggie in as well. Those farm bred feeders are nasty and sickly in my opinion, so I try to improve their health as best possible before passing them on to my critters
