Just came across this pics on my computer, we found this little guy on our window right before a massive thunderstorm, brought him inside to take a few picks before letting him go. I had never seen the green morph before. He was soo cute and a fast little leaper. Enjoy:

Nice. My favorite of our local frog species. I just don't see them as often as I'd like.

I dont think you'd ever seem then in or on a tree, no matter how hard you looked! I like the grey ones with the neon orange on that inside leg, this one is obviously a younger one.

I actually have found them on a tree, but it is tough. I find them crossing the road, and my son found one on the porch when he was very small. They are calling all around the hous, just haven't shown up at the lights yet.

One of fav North Amer tree frog, my fav is the Canyon tree frog. The Grey is extremely common in e tx where I grew up. Sometimes in the middle of the day when I would walk in the woods I could hear them waaaaaayyy up in tall trees giving a short call, to me it sounds like a warning to others that something:evil: is down there on the ground. I don't know what else it could be for, it's happened too many times for me to count. Thanks for posting pics.

That is my favorite thing about summer rain showers at night. We see at least 1 everytime. We live in NC so ours aren't colored anything like that, but I still love seeing the little guys.:)

If anyone has access to bird voiced treefrogs-that is a species I'd love to try keeping(Hyla avivoca)
