Today my greenbottle blue chase a cricket and before eating it she make a big web (with the cricket in her mouth). Is the first time I look a big T eating something, and I whant to know if this web that she make is normal and if somebody know what does it mean?

Thanks

I've always seen this as part of the happy/feeding dance that Ts sometimes do when they catch their prey. I've yet to see them wrap up their cricket, but have watched them place it on this plate they make for a few moments just to pick it up again and continue the dance.

Most T's do the web/dance thing after capturing a prey item. It is a perfectly normal thing to do.

ines68,
Where did you get your spider. Do you collect your own GBB in the wild?

No, I buy it, but Im going this weekend to a wild place near mi home to see if I can find some other species, and for the weekend of the 26 of july I am going to travel to a indian reservation in the Amazonas, where im shure I can find some more
