green mantis...OR IS IT? HaHA ! . . . i dont even know !

So...Heres ma man Tony....a "green mantis".....i got him when he was a little squirt a few weeks ago..he shed once maybe 2 weeks ago... he got HUGE! annnnnnd just ate 5 crickets...that beast....BUT...anyway....tony now has DEEP Red "stripes" on his back... i just noticed them today....it looks like more are on their way......does anyone know for sure if Tony is a True Green Mantid...or is he just the raddest mantis EVER ? hahaa...and if he IS somethin else....does anyone have an adult picture of what he willl look like in the future? haa thanks. :D

Funny bumping into you here ROCKSY;)

You need to find out the latin name on the stud. Then finding info and pics will be alot easier. He looks awsome, Great Pic!

Nice mantis. I have no idea wheather it is a true green or not. It is cool either way.

What is the latin name for the "true green" mantid? I've never heard that common name before. "Green" could describe more than a few mantids.
