Ok, this is really wierd and I wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this.
I've been buying carefresh for my snakes for a while now, mostly just the white kind. I've also used the yellow, red and blue colors for some of my tanks.
Recenly I bought green carefresh and for some reason it has a REALLY strong odor of peppers (like jalapenos!). Everytime I walk into my snake room I can smell hot peppers and it's coming from the tank with green carefresh. I'm probably going to switch it out soon since I'm not sure it's good for my snake and it's really smelly. I'm going to write to the company and see if they can tell me why it smells like that. Carefresh does't usually have any odor.
