Orange spinnerets, but more pink than my rose hair? It surprised me a bit when I saw her. It isn't an effect of the lighting either. In fact, the lighting fades the color a bit.

I have some of the supposed Acanthoscurria borealis a.k.a. Aphonopelma sp. "Guatemala". They are more of a silvery grey or bluish color. Not nearly as robust as A. seemanni. This one is built just like A. seemanni, but it is pink. I'm stumped a bit.Could be one of the 'other' A. seemanni's, some recent work has uncovered similar spiders in Honduras and Guatamala. Seems that what we commonly know as the A. seemanni from Costa Rica may or may not be that. I believe some of where I remember seeing this stuff was related to the Acanthoscurria borealis id threads if you want somewhere to start a search...
