I went to a petstore about 45mins away, and picked up this Beauty for 19.98,
it was labled Stripe Knee tarantula,so im guessing its a Aphonopelma Semmani. i was seeing if i got lucky and picked up the Blue color Form of it.

here's a pic

Looks like an A. semmani to me, does it have orange spinnerettes, if so, it definately is.
Although it doesn't really look like the blue one. Still a great find, I almost bought one a few months ago.

Really? I wasn't aware of any other species that shared not only this appearance, but orange spinnerettes. Pics? What species all carry these characteristics?

I'm still learning, I haven't had much experiance so I shouldn't have made the call as to what it was or wasn't A. semmani, but any time one of them shows up in the 'identification' pictures, if it has orange spinnerretes, it was always labled A. semmani, so I apologize for being in the dark.

Wow

wow i had no idea that it could be somthing else, the more i look at it,it dosent really have bright orange spinneretts, the're just really light tan with a little bit of red.,It dosent seem that aggressive,i've touched it's abdomen a few times with tweezers, and it didnt really show any signs of agression.but it does run, but dont throw a defensive stance.,but i still wouldnt trust it. i tryed to take some more pics/but im not that great at it.

here's a couple more.
