I picked up a "giant camel spider" at the arcadia insect show this weekend. Are those eggs I see?

You haven't read anything on solifugid housing have you? These things have very short lifespans. You have a big enough enclosure - cool. You need high ass temperatures and a hell lot of hiding places. The thing will literally run itself to death if you don't support it correctly. There is another thread here about the solifugid. It's title is "Don't Kill Me" or something like that. And yes, with solifugids you can see the eggs through its skin.

You seriously need to check that thread.

The photo of the enclosure was taken before it was finished...believe me, its got plenty of hiding spaces now.

Great pic of the abdomen, its so fascinating that we get to see the eggs... $%"/$%"/ don't make me want solifugids too
