Grass spider has laid an unviable sac, should I remove it?

My female grass spider (agelenopsis, unsure of species) is nearly a year old and she's recently made an egg sac. She hasn't been in the presence of a male spider since she was a spiderling so I doubt the eggs are viable. Should I remove the sac? Or just leave her to tend to it?
