Make sure they can't squeeze out through any of the ventilation holes! (If the tarantula's carapace is smaller than the hole, it can potentially get out.)

Cute!
About the enclosure, it might be too big for the size of that sling.
Really? Does this affect the healt of my slings?? I thought it could be benficial to have some space where to roam and web...

They can't, there are a lot of holes but none of them is big enough for a "great escape". Though... I have to say that one of them is still worringly roaming around the lid. It just gives me the impression that it's searching for an escape... :astonished:

They dont really need space to roam, as they usually stay in their burrow or hide.

I have read several different opinions about it here, but my conclusion I that it can make the spider feel less secure, as they usually hide in small places. This can be fixed by giving them good hides and making sure that the enclosure isn't just a plain.

Also what I found with big enclosures make it difficult for us to find the spiders or feeders.
I would say it doesn't affect your tarantula's health.

Oh, then I am fine! I knew that GBB are burrowers and webber so I gave them plenty of cork bark places where to hide and where to build their cobwebs and a decent depth of substrate where eventually dig their holes!
And with my immense pleasure they both started to spinning the webs! :D
