Thought I'd post up this pic of one of my G. aureostriata slings... I have him in a 40-dram vial... but thought it was interesting what he's done with his home. Not really a burrow of sorts... but you can see how it has built up the substrate in the middle... almost like a "peak". Then you can see how it dips down on either side... I was feeding them today and thought I'd catch a photo of what he's done to the place. :D

Haha, mine did pretty much the same thing. Does yours use it as a hide/usual sitting place? I wouldn't think they'd feel as secure without a "real" burrow, and a roof over their heads, but it seems to like its little trench just fine.

They're such cute little bulldozers. :D

My Chaco is 4" and has done the exact same thing, building a hill of substrate in the middle. It's not as high as it used to be because she's packed it down so much. She totally covered it in a carpet of web as well. I have know idea what she's planning :confused: :D

I would pull that cricket out of there...it may molt anyday from the looks of it.

Believe it or not... he ate that cricket. :D He's not fat... he's just big boned.
