We have 3 redfoot tortoises.

Nice tortiose. How big will it get?

I've never really thought about keeping them but I saw some redfoot torts at the pet shop yesterday that may change my mind. If I don't curb my habit for finding new, interesting animals to keep I may have to get rid of my room mate just to make room for the pets.

Well at my work we have some russian tortoises and they look almost dead-on like the one in your pic. I believe that they are a smaller species or tortoise getting about 8" or so, but I could be wrong.

He said the biggest it will ever get is about 10" long so its not one of those that get too big that you need to put an addition on your house, friendly too, comes right to you if you offer it food.
